DESIGN CHALLENGE
Draw three pet names, consumable products, and cities out of a hat (all options submitted by the class). Choose one from each category to combine into an illustrated product logo.
SOLUTION
The options that I drew were: Sylvester the Parrot, Red Wine, and Buenos Aires, Argentina. Through research, I learned about Argentina’s wine industry and Buenos Aires’ traditional Fileteado style of illustration and lettering. My logo emulates the bright colors common in Argentinian folk art and signage.
