DESIGN CHALLENGE
Design a physical version of your portfolio. It must be distinctive, authentic, and memorable. It must be consistent with your personal brand and evoke your brand essence. If done well, it will provide a competitive advantage that will position you from others in the field. It should display your work succinctly but effectively. Work with a local printer to print the pages, use bookbinding techniques to bind the pages, and create a custom cover.
SOLUTION
I created a portfolio book that reflects my personal brand and showcases my best work. The page layout utilizes a modular grid system and typography styled with a clear visual hierarchy. The sections and the work are organized similarly to this website. I used a Coptic stitch to bind together the pages and included my illustrative logo embroidered on the cover. My brand pattern can be found on the inside covers.
